PUR hot melt adhesives are reactive hot melt adhesives based on polyurethane. A pure hotmelt combines the property of a hotmelt (quick bonding after cooling) with the structural, permanent connection of PUR, a common raw material for adhesives in the construction sector, among other things.

Like conventional PUR adhesives, PUR hot melt adhesives also react with moisture from the environment. PUR hot melt adhesives are typically "one and a half". PUR hotmelts should therefore be provided with an airtight packaging.

PUR hot metals are often used in the wood, construction and furniture industries as well as in the textile and automotive industries.
